This year, we’re celebrating a momentous milestone — The GelBottle Inc.’s 10th birthday in August! From a bold idea born in 2015 to becoming the #1 professional nail brand, TGB has transformed the industry with innovation, colour and community. And here at TGB Academy, we’re proud to say: we wouldn’t be here without it.  

From BIAB™ to Global Education

TGB didn’t just create BIAB™ — it created a movement. A movement that led to the launch of TGB Academy in 2018, with one mission: to empower nail techs with the skills, confidence and tools to thrive. After all, it’s a brand created by a nail tech for nail techs   

We ran our first courses in March 2018, and since then? We’ve grown from a handful of UK locations to a global education network spanning 10 countries. From Brighton to Brisbane, we’ve supported thousands of artists in building careers they love.  

Milestones That Made Us

Behind every course, every launch and every milestone, there’s a story. And ours is one of grit, growth and genuine connection.

Here’s a look at some of the moments that shaped our journey:  
  • 2018: TGB Academy officially launches with hands-on nail courses across the UK  
  • 2019–2025: International expansion rockets us into Australia, the US, New Zealand and Ireland  
  • 2022: Launch of DesignEx Pro™, a breakthrough in extension education  
  • 2023: Introduction of ProForm™, now one of our most requested courses  
  • 2023–2025: Online education evolves with accredited conversion courses, nail art workshops, prep classes and luxury treatments — culminating in our brand-new online learning platform that launched July 2025
